Too Busy For God
In Matthew 22:5, Jesus gives the response of the people invited to the wedding feast saying, “But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.”
Some people say they are just too busy for God. They try to pencil Him into their schedule but He always seems to get quickly erased. God is so persistent! He never quits. He goes after the hearts of His children until they see how wrong they have been. Until our eyes were opened, it seemed annoying. God’s Immeasurable Love
In Matthew 22:3, Jesus continues to say, “And (the king) sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.”
As we previously said, God’s love for us is immeasurable. He goes to extreme depths to have us turn to Him. He sent and continues to send countless servants to share His heart with us. However, we are not always willing to accept His invitation. Usually, we have a lame excuse as if we have control over anything in our lives. Why are so many people unwilling to come to the More >
