Proud vs Pride
In Matthew 25:20, Jesus says, “The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.’”
When we do a good job, we are proud of the effort we’ve placed. There is a difference between being proud and being prideful. Being proud is best associated with the accomplishment of a task well done while pride is a state of arrogance that a person lives in. No Knowledge – Hosea 4:1 – 6:3 (Week 8
The book of Hosea contains 4 messages, or sermons, from the prophet. The first message is in chapters 1 – 3 which we considered in Week 7. It describes the physical circumstances that God led Hosea through in order to picture the wretchedness of Israel’s condition.
