In Matthew 27:19, While Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, “Have nothing to do with that righteous Man; for last night I suffered greatly in a dream because of Him.”
One thing that is undeniable about Jesus is His righteousness. Even the governor’s wife who didn’t even know Jesus could see He was a righteous man. She could see her husband was in a “no win” situation and she wanted him to be free from making that difficult decision. Some could argue that women are better decision makers then men are.
