In Matthew 21:39, Jesus continues the parable saying, “So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him (the son of the land owner).”
People like to dig their own graves deeper and deeper. God has given us many opportunities for us to come back into fellowship with Him. The teaching of these words must seem very surprising to those who are strangers to vital godliness, but to the sincere believer it is only the inculcation of a recognized truth.
