Here Is Our God!
In Matthew 21:11, the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”
Here is our God! Here is our King! This is one of one who saved His people! What a testimony! This cannot be described by mere words. When we have been touched by God, there is always a transformation that takes place. As Jesus was transfigured before three disciples a few chapters ago, He wants to transform our lives the same way. Many people say they don’t believe in God because they can’t see Him. However, by the changes that takes place in our lives, we don’t have to see God to know He is there. How many people saw Jesus Christ and still did not believe in Him? All the people who say they would believe God if they could just see Him wouldn’t even know how to recognize God not to mention would also die right at that instance. They fail to realize that they will see God, but at that time it will be too late. We as believers in Jesus Christ need to live our lives holy, acceptable, blameless and pleasing onto God so the world can see He lives in us. People see God everyday but when the flesh gets the best of us, we send out a blurry vision of who He really is.

Catching Life
In Matthew 8:22, Jesus responds to the disciple, ”Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead.” Many people think Jesus is lacking compassion for a dying man when He tells the disciple to let the dead bury their dead. However, Jesus is asking a question in the form of a statement, “Why do…
Making Jesus Wait
In Matthew 8:21, Another of the disciples said to Jesus, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.” We always want to do the right thing after we accomplish our personal goals and plans. This disciple had a reasonable request to bury his dad but the problem is why does something need to happen…
Well Done
In Matthew 25:21, Jesus continues to say, “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’” As a child, we wanted approval from our parents. I don’t think that ever changes. We will…

Read … Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve – designating them apostles – that they…
The Core – Hosea 4:1 – 6:3 (Week 8
We are in Hosea’s second message … Hosea 4:1 – 6:3. In Lesson 1 of our Hosea study, we observed that the people were perishing because there was no knowledge of God in the land. Today, let’s consider the responsibility carried by the priests for that condition. I am not sure if the religious leaders…
Costs of Discipleship
In Matthew 8:20, Jesus said to the disciple, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” It is interesting how Jesus responds to the people who say they want to follow Him. He told them exactly what it would cost them. He told them following Him…
