In Matthew 21:15, when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant!

Has anything really changed? When we offer praise, glory, and honor for our King Jesus Christ, the world expresses its displeasure. Jesus is the most offensive person the world has ever known. His followers, His believers, those who put their trust in Him are considered to be intolerant when in reality we have become too tolerant. It is at a level of disgust nowadays. We need to pray for strength so that we can stand up for the truth. The world tries to use Jesus to their advantage to manipulate His love and compassion to be weak and compromising. Jesus never compromised on the Word of God and neither should we. That popular phrase from a few years ago, “What would Jesus do,” has a simple answer; He would stand up for God’s truth while still showing His love and compassion. We may think the world is so large that speaking against the evil in it is meaningless, but we must remember the power of God, who created the heavens and the earth, lives in us!
